This calculator evaluates the following Clinical Criteria:
- Sex
- Paralysis, paresis or recent orthopedic casting of lower extremity
- Bed confined >3 days
- Unilateral lower limb enlargement (3 cm circumferance more than contralateral)
- Unilateral lower limb pain
- Alternative diagnosis more likely than DVT (Baker's cyst, cellulitis, muscle damage, SVT, post phlebitic syndrome, inguinal lymphadenopathy, external venous compression)
