This calculator evaluates the following Clinical Criteria:
- Terminal illness with possible death in 1 month
- Hypoxia or tachypnea
- Shock from sepsis
- Platelet count below 150,000
- Granulocytic bands >5% of WBC
- Patient older than 65 years old
- Lower respiratory infection
- Patient is from a nursing home
- Mental status is altered
