Padua Score for Assessing Venous Thromboembolism Risk in Hospitalized Patients is available in

This calculator evaluates the following Clinical Criteria:
- Cancer: Active or treated with chemotherapy and or XRT within the last six months
- History of venous thrombotic disease (not to include superficial thromboses)
- Impaired/reduced mobility of at least three days duration
- Preexisting hypercoaguable state
- Trauma or surgery within one month
- Age ≥70 years old
- Heart or respiratory failure
- Stroke or acute MI
- Acute infectious disease or rheumatic disease
- Obesity with a body mass index ≥30 kg/m2
- Intercurrent hormone replacement treatment
